Women are often the poorest and least educated members of society, which gives them less power. Still, women tend to invest in their children. By connecting them to better economic support, we change the trajectory of families—and entire communities. CMMB’s programs empower women through microloans, village savings and lending associations, and income-generating activities. For the most vulnerable households, we provide unconditional cash transfers for three to four years to enable families to manage their nutrition, health, and education priorities.
