Infectious diseases are among the leading causes of death in Kenya. According to the World Health Organization, more Kenyans die from tuberculosis (TB) and HIV/AIDS than anything else. These diseases, and others like malaria and diarrheal illnesses, strain Kenya’s healthcare system. Amid the constant threat of life-threatening sickness, women, children, and their communities struggle to thrive. With our community-led approach, CMMB is working to reduce infections and provide quality care to those who become sick.
